I love this cute bee so much! On the first two cards of the class, I had the bees flying from side-to-side. For this card, I've got it flying straight up. This is why I stamp the bee body & stripes and punch it out before stamping on the face. After I punch it out, I can then lay the bee body down the way I want to put it on my card, and then stamp the face without worrying about stamping it the wrong direction.
Not only does the stamp set in the bundle have the bee & sentiment stamps, it also has some cute flower & stem stamps. I used them to make the little flower garden for my adorable bee to fly out of. I also love the "flying trail" stamp to show where I bee has been. I forgot to use this stamp in the video above, so you can see what it looks like without it in the video (go to the "Card 3" chapter of the video).
As with the other two cards, I used the Bee Mine Designer Series Paper (DSP). This DSP is as adorable as the bundle! I love all of those cute bees on the design I chose for today's card. There are some patterned designs in this DSP pack, too, but I like the bee designs the best.
In case you were wondering, the scallop rectangle was done with a die in the Scalloped Contours Dies in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. This die set has been around for a few years, and I hope it sticks around for a few more. I love the rectangle dies in it! The Petal Pink base layer was embossed with one of the embossing folders in the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. This set of three embossing folders is part of Stampin' Up!'s Online Exclusives.
I always feature one embellishment for my Card Class @ Homes. Of course, I had to use the cute Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers from the suite. They coordinate with bundle and DSP so well! These embellishments come in four colors, and each color has 2 sizes of hearts and 2 sizes of flowers. On this card, I used three of the flowers in the pack. I decided to make a flower garden for the inside of my card, too. I wish I would have thought of this before...it just popped into my head while I was typing. It would look so cute to have the bee flying out of the left side of this flower garden, too. I need to try that!
