Bee My Valentine Card Class @ Home - Card #2

Here's the second card for my current Free Card Class @ Home. This class features the adorable Bee My Valentine Bundle from the new Stampin' Up! January-April 2023 Mini Catalog.

I start my weekly Card Class @ Home every Thursday, and they end on the following Wednesday. The Free class video is my weekly Thursday Live on my Facebook Page and YouTube Channel @ 7:30 pm (ET). You can see the video for this class below. I have added chapters to the video, so you can skip to the part you want to watch, too.

How would you like to get the card kits (includes the cardstock (cut, embossed, & die-cut), Designer Series Paper (DSP), & ribbon to make two each of the three cards in the class FREE?

Here's the Free Class @ Home Video (You Can See What Comes in the Class Kits, Too)...

Click "Watch on YouTube" if You Would Like to See it in HD

I added chapters to the video above, so you can jump to the section of the video you want to watch.

Note:  I didn't realize as I was doing the Live that the Host Code on the ticker in the video above is wrong. Make sure to use Host Code CYW2VAAX when you order.

When to Use, And When Not To Use, the Host Code

  • You need to use the host code on orders of $40-$149.99 (BEFORE SHIPPING & TAX) to get the class's card kits FREE.
  • Don't use the Host Code if your order is $150 or more (BEFORE SHIPPING & TAX) so you'll get the Stampin' Rewards from Stampin' Up! AND the supplies for the class FREE. If you DO NOT want to receive the card supplies, please  CONTACT ME to let me know you don't wish to receive them.

Don't Forget! Orders Need to Be Placed by the End of the Day

My second card isn't exactly a fun fold card, but it is a little different from a regular card base. The card front is shorter than the back of the card. It's really easy to make, and you can learn how in the video above. Just click on the video chapter for card #2.

This time, I made two bees for my card. I wanted them facing each other, so all I had to do was lay the two bee bodies down after punching them out so the stingers were on opposite sides. Then, I stamped the faces on.

Once again, I used the Designer Series Paper (DSP) that coordinates with the Bee My Valentine Bundle. It's called Bee Mine DSP. I used two different designs, too. The honey pot design is actually on the inside layer of the card. I wanted it to show from the front when the card was closed, and that's why I made the card front shorter.

The Petal Pink layer was embossed with the embossing folder with large polka-dots that comes in the Basics 3D Embossing Folders.

I always feature one embellishment for my Card Class @ Homes. Of course, I had to use the cute Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers from the suite. They coordinate with bundle and DSP so well! These embellishments come in four colors, and each color has 2 sizes of hearts and 2 sizes of flowers. On this card, I used a large Daffodil Delight heart, a small Sweet Sorbet heart, and a small Petal Pink heart. The Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers pack is NOT included in the card kits, but you can get it added FREE...

If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code CYW2VAAX, by January 10th, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!

Here's a picture of the card completely open so you can see the inside of the card, too.

I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.
