My second card isn't exactly a fun fold card, but it is a little different from a regular card base. The card front is shorter than the back of the card. It's really easy to make, and you can learn how in the video above. Just click on the video chapter for card #2.
This time, I made two bees for my card. I wanted them facing each other, so all I had to do was lay the two bee bodies down after punching them out so the stingers were on opposite sides. Then, I stamped the faces on.
Once again, I used the Designer Series Paper (DSP) that coordinates with the Bee My Valentine Bundle. It's called Bee Mine DSP. I used two different designs, too. The honey pot design is actually on the inside layer of the card. I wanted it to show from the front when the card was closed, and that's why I made the card front shorter.
The Petal Pink layer was embossed with the embossing folder with large polka-dots that comes in the Basics 3D Embossing Folders.
I always feature one embellishment for my Card Class @ Homes. Of course, I had to use the cute Adhesive-Backed Hearts & Flowers from the suite. They coordinate with bundle and DSP so well! These embellishments come in four colors, and each color has 2 sizes of hearts and 2 sizes of flowers. On this card, I used a large Daffodil Delight heart, a small Sweet Sorbet heart, and a small Petal Pink heart.
