Saint Nicholas Card Class @ Home - Card #2

Here's the second card for my current Free Card Class @ Home. This class features the Saint Nicholas Bundle from the Stampin' Up! September-December 2023 Mini Catalog (Holiday Mini).

I start my weekly Card Class @ Home every Thursday, and they end on the following Wednesday. The Free class video is my weekly Thursday Live on my Facebook Page and YouTube Channel @ 7:30 pm (ET). You can see the video for this class below. I have added chapters to the video, so you can skip to the part you want to watch, too.

How would you like to get the card kits (includes the cardstock (cut, embossed, & die-cut), Designer Series Paper (DSP), & ribbon to make two each of the three cards in the class FREE?

Don't Forget! Orders Need to Be Placed by the End of the Day

On the FIRST CARD for the class, I stamped & colored one of the vintage Santas with Stampin' Blends. On today's card, I die-cut two of the vintage Santas from the Designer Series Paper (DSP) that coordinates with the Saint Nicholas Bundle. I love it when dies can die-cut images out of the paper!

To give the Very Vanilla base layer the same vintage look as the Santa, I added ink to it. I put Crumb Cake & Early Espresso ink onto the piece using Blending Brushes and added splatters with a Stampin' Blend. You can learn how I did this in the video above.

To make sure I had enough Santas for the card kits, I'll be including one each of the two Santas in the pictures above. Everyone that qualifies for the free card kits (see above to learn how you qualify) will get both a Mossy Meadow coat Santa & a Real Red coat Santa.

If you're wondering what DSP pack I'm talking about, it's the Traditions of St. Nick DSP from Stampin' Up!'s Online Exclusives. Like all of the Online Exclusives, it's not in a catalog. You can only find it in my Online Store. The strip I used on both cards above also comes from this DSP pack. Isn't that vintage design gorgeous?

I also used some ribbon that wasn't available for awhile, but thankfully, it's back in stock. It's from the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack, which is also from the Holiday Mini. I used the beautiful metallic copper ribbon in this combo pack.

Once again, I used the Festive Pearls from the annual catalog. This is the embellishment I'm featuring in this class, and it's a must have for Christmas projects! There are four colors of pearls in this pack, and they are Cherry Cobbler, light green, silver, & gold. I used three gold pearls on these cards. Yes, you can mix metallics on a card...I think copper & gold look great together. The Festive Pearls are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...

If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code APW2T9UM, by November 15th, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Festive Pearls Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!

I loved the vintage design DSP strip on the front of the card so much that I just had to add one to the inside of my card, too.

I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.

Come Back Wednesday for the Last Card of the Class
