The first two cards in this class feature some of the wonderful Santa images in the Saint Nicholas Bundle. On this card, I used one of the Santa stamps in the bundle's stamp set, and I colored it in with Stampin' Blends. The chimney and the "snow" on the top & bottom of the chimney were made with some of the dies in the bundle.
The chimney can also be made into a fireplace by taking off the snow, and then adding a fireplace opening & fire die-cut using other dies in the bundle. There's even a die that adds stockings across the mantle. You can see all of the dies in this wonderful bundle in my video above.
There is even a Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack that coordinates perfectly with this bundle. You might have missed this great DSP, because it's not in a catalog. It's part of Stampin' Up!'s Online Exclusives, and it's called Traditions of St. Nick DSP. I love the design that I used across the bottom of this card. It's so pretty.
What I love most about this bundle & DSP is the vintage-look and feel it has. To go along with that, I embossed the large Very Vanilla with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder, also from the Holiday Mini. It's like they were made for each other!
I always pick out an embellishment for my Card Class @ Homes, and this time, I chose the Festive Pearls from the annual catalog. The colors of these Pearls work perfectly with the colors in the DSP...Cherry Cobbler, light green, silver, & gold. I totally forgot to add these pearls to this card during the video, but you can see where I put them on my original card above. I used three Cherry Cobbler pearls. I put one on the bow of the large present in Santa's right hand, and two on the right end of the greeting strip. The Festive Pearls are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...
