When I was making this card, I was wanting to make the focal point look like an ornament. That's why I popped a bow on top of the circle. The bow was made with the GORGEOUS Night of Navy & Gold Glittered Ribbon. I'm SO happy that this ribbon will not be going away when the Holiday Mini ends!
The card above is my original card. As you can see, I put the nativity die-cut on top of the vellum on my original. When I was making the card during the video above, I decided to put the nativity die-cut behind my vellum circle instead of on top of it. I like both looks, but I like the die-cut behind the vellum the best. I love the soft-look to it.
The greeting was heat embossed with gold embossing powder. If you don't have the supplies needed to heat emboss, you could stamp it in Night of Navy ink instead. FYI: When stamping with ink on vellum, you need to let the ink dry completely before handling. The ink will smear if it's not dry.

As I said in yesterday's post, I picked two beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP) packs for this class's cards...O Holy Night DSP & Shining Brightly Specialty DSP. This card features only the Shining Brightly Specialty DSP, and the FIRST CARD featured the O Holy Night DSP only. Tomorrow's card will feature both!
Sadly, BOTH of these DSP packs SOLD OUT right after I came up with the cards for the class. I have enough on hand for my card kits, but these two packs are now officially retired forever.
