I used the border stamps to stamp a background onto the card base, like I did on the FIRST CARD. This time, however, I stamped them two times before reinking. I think this gives the background a worn look that I really like.
The card base, and the DSP design I used from the Delicate Desert DSP, color is the soon-to-be retiring Pale Papaya. It's in the outgoing 2021-2023 In Colors Collection. Actually, the Soft Succulent color I used on the green flower is in the same In Color Collection. If one or both of them come back as a core color, they'll stay, but I won't know until the end of the month. Yes, as a demo, I get to see the new colors early! I LOVE being a demo! I'm really looking forward to seeing the color refresh...I love having new colors to work with!
The embellishments I'm featuring in this class are the Gold Faceted Adhesive-Backed Sequins, which are also a part of the Delicate Desert Suite. There are four different kinds of sequins in this pack, and I used the crescent moons & small circle sequins on this card. I just realized I used the small circle sequins on all three cards. LoL The Gold Faceted Adhesive-Backed Sequins are not included in the card kits, but you can get them added free...

I REALLY wanted to use this die and the other color design in the Dry Brushed Metallic Specialty DSP, so I used them both on the inside of the card. I die-cut two of these diamond-shaped die-cuts, and cut one in half to make this design. I love how the diamond shapes interlock like a puzzle. Pretty cool! There is some Soft Succulent in this paper, so that helps it coordinate with the front of the card.
