Graduation Card - Hand Delivered

Yep, it's definitely graduation season! Here's another graduation card I made for one of our great-nieces who graduated from high school. I once again used used the super-cute, host-exclusive stamp set, Hand Delivered. I CASEd this one from Linda Callahan. I like making graduation cards with this stamp set, but I can't wait to use this stamp set for a birthday card. I want to use those balloons! LoL

As stated, this stamp set is a host-exclusive stamp set. It can only be obtained with a workshop order ($150 or more - before shipping & tax), and chosen as part of your Stampin' Rewards you earn. If you like this set, and live in the United States, there are three different ways you can get it (four if you're local to me). They are:
  1. Host a Facebook Virtual Workshop - I set up the Facebook group, you invite your friends and family, and I take care of the rest. Everyone can attend from the comfort of their own homes…even in their pajamas! There will be demonstration videos, project ideas, and so much more.
  2. Host a Catalog/Online Order Workshop - Collect orders and/or ask your friends and family to place their orders online using your exclusive host code.
  3. Place Your Own Workshop Order - Spoil yourself with your own personal party! Place a personal order of $150 (before shipping & tax) or more to earn Stampin’ Rewards. Go ahead, you deserve it!
  4. Host a Traditional In-Home Workshop (local customers only) -  Host your friends and family to a party in either my Stampin’ Up! classroom, your home, or another location of your choice.

If you don't have your own Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I'd love to help you earn this wonderful stamp set. Contact me at christyfulk@createwithchristy.com, if interested.

Dimensions:

  • Thick Whisper White:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base)
  • Bermuda Bay:  2-3/4" x 4" (main image mat)
  • Whisper White:  4" x 5-1/4" (embossed layer), 2-5/8" x 3-7/8" (main image base layer),  3" x 2-1/2" (main images) & 2-3/4" x 1/2" (greeting)
  • Share What You Love Designer Series Paper:  3" x 4-1/4"
  • Rhinestone Basic Jewels:  2 large

Instructions:

  1. Emboss the Whisper White embossed layer by running it through the Big Shot with the Tufted Dynanmic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Fold the Thick Whisper White piece in half (fold on the left) to form the card base. Attach the embossed layer to the center of the card front. Tip:  Score the card base piece at 5-1/2" (with the 8-1/2" sides on the top and bottom). This helps the thick cardstock fold better. Attach the DSP piece to the center of the card, at an angle (see picture).
  2. Stamp the skirt/legs stamp from the Hand Delivered Stamp Set onto the Whisper White main images piece using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Stamp the books stamp next to it using the same ink pad. Stamp the striped skirt stamp inside the stamped skirt outline using the Bermuda Bay Classic Stampin' Pad. Color the images in with the following Stampin' Blends:  Rich Razzleberry Combo, Daffodil Delight Combo, Old Olive Combo (books), Ivory (legs and hands), Bermuda Bay Combo (shoes & books), Light Cherry Cobbler (books & apple). Fussy cut the two images out with Paper Snips.
  3. Attach the Whisper White main image base layer piece to the center of the Bermuda Bay piece. Attach the skirt/legs to the bottom, center of the piece. Attach the books to the top of the skirt, using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. Attach it all to the center of the card, over the DSP, using Stampin' Dimensionals (see picture).
  4. Stamp the "To the Graduate" stamp to the center of the Whisper White greeting piece using the Rich Razzleberry Classic Stampin' Pad. Cut a small triangle out of each end to form the banner. Attach it across the skirt using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
  5. With the rhinestones still attached to the package backing, color two of the large rhinestones with the Dark Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blend Markers. When dry (dries in a few seconds), attach them to the bottom, right of the main image base layer (see picture).

Use SNAIL Adhesive when attaching, unless stated otherwise.
