Happy Wednesday, everyone! I got a box of goodies yesterday. It felt like Christmas! I couldn't make anything yesterday, which drove me crazy, but I finally got to this morning. I used two more challenges to help get my creative juices flowing. This beautiful Spring color combo is this week's Curtain Call Color Challenge (Act 68). I just love these colors together. It's so cold here in Indiana, so I was glad to use these colors to brighten things up. I also used today's card sketch over at SCS. It's SC319.
The new goody I used for this Easter card was the Easter Blossoms set (p. 17 in the Occasions Mini). What a beautiful set! So many possibilities! I stamped the dogwood tree branch twice on the top of the card with Melon Mambo ink, and then I colored the flowers in a little bit with my Uniball Signo White Gel Pen (p. 195). I didn't color the flowers in completely...I just made a few lines in each flower to highlight them a little bit. The Pink Pirouette strip was embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder (p. 214), and then layered onto a piece of Wild Wasabi card stock that I had punched with the Scallop Trim Border Punch (p. 200) on one long side. The Easter eggs were cut out freehand, and attached to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (p. 197). I also put a small rhinestone on each egg from the Basic Rhinestones Jewels pack (p. 188).
Stamps: Easter Blossoms (Mini)
Ink: Wild Wasabi, Pink Pirouette, & Melon Mambo Classic ink pads
Paper: Melon Mambo, Wild Wasabi, Pink Pirouette, & Whisper White card stock
Accessories: Uniball Signo White Gel Pen, Basic Rhinestones Jewels, Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Stampin' Dimensionals, & Paper Snips
