I've made another card using the Bliss SAB set (p. 10 in SAB brochure). I wanted to participate in the SCS Color Combo Challenge this week...River Rock, Basic Gray, & Whisper White. It's CC308. I would have never thought of this color combo myself, but now that I've used it, I love it!
Here are a few particulars of the card. The River Rock layer was embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper Impressions Folder (p. 214). The ornate stamp from the Bliss set was stamped onto the center of the Whisper White layer using Basic Gray ink. I also stamped each end of the stamp on both ends. I then stamped the image on the left and right of the piece with River Rock ink, and sponged the whole piece with River rock ink.
I punched one long side of a Basic Gray strip using the Scallop Trim Border Punch (p. 200), and attached it to the top of the Whisper White layer. I then attached the strip of Whisper White Organza Ribbon (p. 190) to the gray strip, putting adhesive on each end and attaching it to the back of the River Rock card stock. Then, I attached the whole piece to the front of the Basic Gray card.
The greeting is from the Bring on the Cake set (p. 20-21 in the Occasions Mini), and it was punched out with the 2" x 1-3/8" Oval XL Punch (p. 202)...also known as the Wide Oval Punch. I sponged the edges with River Rock ink, and attached it to a Basic Gray piece of card stock punched out with the Decorative Label XL Punch (p. 30 in the Occasions Mini). I attached it to the right side of the ribbon using dimensionals. The butterflies were punched out with the 1-3/8" Circle L Punch (p. 202). They are layered on 1-1/2" squares that I cut out with my paper cutter. The pearls were cut off of one of the strips in the Basic Pearls Jewels Pack (p. 188), and attach the the butterflies.
