It’s Time for Another Christmas in July Card!

A Stitched Season Suite
The suite includes the Stitched Stocking Bundle, A Stitched Season Designer Series Paper (DSP), Real Red Stitched Ribbon, and Adhesive-Backed Mini Christmas Buttons. These products coordinate beautifully for Christmas cards, scrapbook pages, gift packaging, and other holiday paper crafts.
I’ll also teach you how to arrange the paper pieces to make a
Christmas wreath quilt block in two different sizes.

The first project is a regular-sized Christmas card featuring the larger wreath quilt block. I’ll make this entire card with you during the Live, including the quilt-inspired wreath made with traditional Real Red, Peaceful Pine, Old Olive and Basic White Christmas colors.
The A Stitched Season DSP papers and stamped Peaceful Pine cardstock give the wreath the warm look of a handmade holiday quilt, while the embossed white background, done with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder, adds another layer of texture.
The “Merry Christmas” greeting, from the Stitched Season Bundle, fits across the open center of the wreath, and the red rhinestones add just the right amount of sparkle. Where did I get the Real Red rhinestones? Find out in the video above. Rows of tiny Christmas trees along the top and bottom, which were made with a die from the Stitched Season Bundle, finish the card with an extra festive border.
The inside of the first card continues the Christmas tree theme from the front. A row of Peaceful Pine trees, which were leftovers from the tree borders on the front of the card, decorates the bottom of the Basic White layer, and the Real Red Stitched Ribbon adds color and texture above it. There is still plenty of open space for writing a Christmas message to someone special.
The second card is a square Christmas card made with the smaller wreath quilt square. The smaller wreath is layered onto coordinating Real Red and white squares, creating a strong focal point in the center of the card. A Peaceful Pine stamped patterned background, Real Red Stitched Ribbon, and a tied bow frame the quilt square beautifully. The tiny red rhinestones around the wreath add sparkle, while one of the Adhesive-Backed Mini Christmas Buttons decorates the bottom of the wreath. This card does not need a greeting on the front because the quilted wreath gets to be the star of the show.
Inside the square card, I added a strip of the A Stitched Season DSP across the bottom of the Basic White layer. This simple detail carries the holly pattern from the card front to the inside and leaves plenty of room for a stamped greeting or handwritten Christmas message.

It includes pictures of the outside and inside of both cards, the paper sizes for each card, and the supply list for the two projects.
You can print the project sheet before the Live so it is ready to follow along, or use it to gather your supplies and make the projects right along with me. It will also be handy later when you are ready to make more Christmas wreath quilt cards.
