Cutest Crew Card – Fun Patterned Background Design

My Cutest Crew Card Class @ Home (CC@H) is all about creating cards that are fun, lighthearted, and full of personality. Each design in this class uses simple layouts with playful details so you can enjoy the process without feeling overwhelmed.

If you didn’t catch the Live class, you can still watch the replay anytime. It’s a great way to craft at your own pace and go back to any steps you want to see again. I love that you can pause right when you need to and create right along with me.

This second card features the Cutest Crew Bundle again, but this time it's for cat lovers. The cats were made with the stand-alone cat dies in the bundle & Basic White cardstock, and then ink was added with Small Blending Brushes. It’s one of those cards that just makes you smile—and honestly, who doesn’t love that?

I used the Mixed Up Patterns Designer Series Paper on this card as well, but in a different way than the first card. Here, the paper really stands out as a main design element, giving the card a bold and lively background. The mix of patterns in the DSP and the embossing, which was done with the All in a Row Embossing Folder, creates a fun, layered look that adds tons of interest without needing extra embellishment.

Speaking of embellishments… I used the Rhinestone Basic Jewels again, and yes—they’re colored to match! This little trick makes such a difference, especially when you want everything to feel coordinated. The sparkle draws your eye in just the right places, and since the card kits include these embellishments, you’ll be able to recreate this exact look.

The inside of this card continues the fun with a coordinating stamped cats border and a clean space for your message. It’s simple but ties everything together beautifully, making the whole card feel intentional from front to inside.
