This is the first card from my Branching Out Card Class @ Home, and it features the Branching Out Bundle, Elegant Pine Snowflakes Designer Series Paper (DSP), and the Streaked Dots Embellishments. The Branching Out Bundle is a must-have for nature-inspired cardmaking. The stamp set includes beautifully detailed pine branches, cones, and versatile sentiments that can be used for birthdays, masculine cards, winter designs, and more. The coordinating dies bring the branches and pinecones to life, adding realistic depth and dimension.
For this card, I stamped the branch in Pecan Pie ink and the pine needles in Old Olive. Then I added die-cut pinecones in Early Espresso for a rich, natural touch. The background is embossed with the Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder for soft texture and layered with two coordinating patterns from the Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP, which brings the perfect mix of woodsy greens and wintry tones.
To finish the design, I added a few Streaked Dots Embellishments for a bit of shine and dimension. These dark-toned dots catch the light beautifully without overpowering the natural look of the card. The “Happiest Birthday Wishes” sentiment, stamped in Cherry Cobbler, adds just the right pop of color to complete the design.
I stamped another pine branch to the inside of my card, but instead of pinecone die-cuts, I stamped the pinecones with Pecan Pie ink.
