Here's a recap of the class...the FIRST CARD'S zinnias were made with the single zinnia & leaves stamps and the SECOND CARD'S zinnias were made with the large zinnia-trio stamp in the Simply Zinnia stamp set in the bundle. On the last card, I made the zinnias with the dies in the die-set of the bundle. Isn't it pretty?! I think this card is my favorite of the class, and it's the first one I made when I was making the cards for the class. I REALLY wanted to make a zinnia with the dies! A lot of the ladies that watched live liked this one the best, too. Learn how I made mine in the video above.
The circle behind the zinnia was made with the #7 die (#1 being the smallest) in the Deckled Circles Dies. During the Live, I measured the largest circle die in the set, and it makes a circle that's around 5-3/4"! That's a BIG circle, and would work great on a scrapbook page.
The paper design I used from the Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper (DSP) is probably my favorite in the pack, too. There's another one with large zinnias like this one, but it has a Petal Pink background instead the white background this one has. It's hard to choose my favorite between these two designs.
I always feature an embellishment in my Card Class @ Homes. There is a beautiful sequin pack in this suite, but it isn't available right now (it'll be here around the end of the month). Thankfully, everything else in the Flowering Zinnia Suite Collection, including the Simply Zinnia Bundle, is available to purchase.
Since you can't get the sequins right now, I chose to use the Iridescent Foil Gems from the January-April 2024 Mini Catalog instead. They are clear gems with foil flecks inside of them. On the first card, I left them clear, and I turned them into Highland Heather gems on the second card. This time, I colored the gems with the dark Lemon Lolly Stampin' Blend. It's so much fun changing the colors of these gems! Get the Tips on How to Color Them in the Video Above. As you can see, they come in two different sizes, and I used one large and two small gems this time. The Iridescent Foil Gems are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...
If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code REF7DNKB, by April 10th, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Iridescent Foil Gems Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!
I didn't realize until I wrote this post that I used the single zinnia stamp on ALL three cards in this class. LoL I used it again, along with the leaves stamp, to decorate the inside of my card. I stamped the zinnia with Melon Mambo ink, and I stamped the leaves with Lemon Lime Twist ink.
I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.
I Hope You Enjoyed My Simply Zinnia Card Class @ Home!
