Festive & Fun Card Class @ Home - Card #1

Here's the first card for my current Free Card Class @ Home. This class features the super cute Festive & Fun Stamp Set from the Stampin' Up! September-December 2023 Mini Catalog (Holiday Mini).

I start my weekly Card Class @ Home every Thursday, and they end on the following Wednesday. The Free class video is my weekly Thursday Live on my Facebook Page and YouTube Channel @ 7:30 pm (ET). You can see the video for this class below. I have added chapters to the video, so you can skip to the part you want to watch, too.

How would you like to get the card kits (includes the cardstock (cut, embossed, & die-cut), Designer Series Paper (DSP), & ribbon to make two each of the three cards in the class FREE?

Don't Forget! Orders Need to Be Placed by the End of the Day

I was able to use every stamp in the Festive & Fun Stamp Set on the three cards in this class. I love it when I can do that! On this first card, I think this giraffe stamp is SO adorable! It's such a cute Christmas scene, isn't it?

Sadly, this stamp set is retiring. If you would like to get it, make sure to get it soon! It's available while supplies last, or until January 3, 2024...whichever comes first.

I colored the images in with something I haven't used for a long time...Watercolor Pencils! I've got to use these more often. I used both Watercolor Pencils packs that Stampin' Up! has, and the colors I used were:
  1. Assortment 1 - Basic Gray, Early Espresso, Melon Mambo, Real Red, & Daffodil Delight
  2. Assortment 2 - Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Garden Green, Crushed Curry, & Night of Navy

I'm also featuring a Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack that's retiring from the Holiday Mini. It's called Merry Bold & Bright DSP, and it's perfect for this stamp set. The color combo in this DSP uses non-traditional Christmas colors, which makes it so much fun to use. It also includes patterns that you can use all year around!

I always feature one embellishment for my Card Class @ Homes, and this time, I chose the 2022-2024 In Color Pearls from the annual catalog. These In Colors aren't the exact colors in the DSP, but they still coordinate great with it. On this card, I used the Sweet Sorbet pearls in the pack, and I think they look great with the Melon Mambo color of the card base. The 2022-2024 In Color Pearls are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...

If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code SX97BFRT, by December 6th, You'll Get a Full Pack of the 2022-2024 In Color Pearls Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!

Here's what I did on the inside of my card. I wanted the giraffe on the inside, too, but I didn't want to use the whole image. I think just stamping his head, the star and the tip of the tree still looks so cute, and it leaves enough space to write something inside the card.

I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.

Come Back Sunday for the Second Card of the Class
