Don't Forget! Orders Need to Be Placed by the End of the Day
TODAY, May 31, 2023!

My last card for the class is a much softer color combo than the First Card & Second Card. At first, I was going back and forth on whether the first card or this one was my favorite of the class, but I've now decided this one is my favorite.

There are only five colors in the Inked Botanicals DSP, and when you take out Crushed Curry & Calypso Coral, the colors definitely become softer. I love it when I can come up with totally different looking cards with one suite, and the Inked Botanicals Suite delivers just that!

There were only two image stamps that hadn't been used in the class from the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set, and I was able to use them on the last card. The single flower stamp is so pretty, and I used it along the left side of the Basic White base layer. It kinda looks like I made my own DSP, doesn't it? After stamping them, I didn't need much DSP, so I put a narrow strip to the right of the stamped flowers. I LOVE it!

I also like how the softer colors look with this beautiful flower image. After stamping it, I stamped the foliage stamp to the center of it with Pool Party ink. In the video above, I forgot to stamp off first. Stamping off is when you ink the stamp, stamp it onto a scrap piece of paper, and then stamp it onto the cardstock. This helps make a much lighter stamped image.

For each of my Card Class @ Homes, I pick out one embellishment for all three cards. This time, I chose the Iridescent Pastel Gems. The colors go perfectly with this DSP, and there are two sizes in each color. I used one large & 2 small gems in the gold color on today's card. The wonderful thing about iridescent gems is that there are other colors that show up, and you can definitely see some Petal Pink in these gold gems. The Iridescent Pastel Gems are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added free...

If You Place a $55 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code JRA9MUAD, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Iridescent Pastel Gems Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!

I stamped the single flower stamp four times across the bottom of the inside piece with Petal Pink ink. I had them overlap a little bit, and I really like how it looks.

I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.
