Playing in the Rain Card Class @ Home - Card #2

Here's the second card for my newest Free Card Class @ Home. This class features the super cute Playing in the Rain Bundle from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog.

I start my weekly Card Class @ Home every Thursday, and they end on the following Wednesday. The Free class video is my weekly Thursday Live on my Facebook Page and YouTube Channel @ 7:30 pm (ET). My card today is a Pop-Out Fun Fold Card. I've done this fun fold card a few times, and I thought it would work great with the Playing in the Rain Bundle. I believe I was right! I stamped the flowers and raindrops on the Basic White square die-cut behind the fox, BTW.

I love how the greeting I used from the stamp set fits perfectly into the widest, short banner die in the Stylish Shapes dies. This die-set isn't available right now, but it will be again soon. Thankfully, this wonderful die-set is also in the upcoming 2023-2024 Annual Catalog! It's definitely my go-to die-set.

Instead of stamping and coloring in the fox stamp in the bundle, I chose to die-cut one of the images out of the Rain or Shine DSP. The gingham-like paper & the raindrop paper are a part of the same DSP pack. This DSP is retiring, and you'll want to hurry to get it before it's gone forever. It's only available while supplies last or until May 1st...whichever comes first.

It's hard to tell in the pictures, but the raincoat & cap on the fox and the raindrops on the center section are shiny. They have UV coating on them. It looks so good in person!

If you place a qualifying order by the end of tomorrow (see above), you'll get different images from the DSP. The three images are the fox, turtle (see the title picture above), and the bunny (just like the one in YESTERDAY'S CARD).

For each of my Card Class @ Homes, I pick out one embellishment for all three cards. This time, I chose the Loose Daisy Embellishments that are in this suite. There are two different colors of daisies and 2 sizes of each. Today, I added one of these cute daisies onto the greeting banner. The Loose Daisy Embellishments are not included in the card kits, but you can get them added free...

There is a section on the back of this fun fold where you can write a message and sign your name to the card. I stamped the floral stamp from the set & colored them in with Stampin' Blends.
