One Stamp At a Time Blog Hop - Time to Saleabrate

Welcome to the One Stamp At a Time Blog Hop! I'm go glad to have you here at Create With Christy! This month, our theme is Time to Saleabrate. I decided to make my projects using the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set & Hippo Dies.

The Pool Party & Soft Sea Foam Cards & Envelopes Have Already Sold Out!

I also used the Picture This Dies to make these projects. The card actually uses both of the dies in the set. These dies are in the Stampin' Up! 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. This is the first time I've used these dies, and I can't believe it took me so long to get them out. They're so much fun!

I also used the cute Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the same annual catalog. I used BOTH sides of one of the sheets in this DSP. I LOVE it when I can do that.

This month is World Watercolor Month, so I just had to watercolor these cuties! I used my very neglected Watercolor Pencils - Assortment 1 to color them in. I used the Basic Gray, Calypso Coral, Old Olive & Daffodil Delight pencils in the set. I then used a Blender Pen to "watercolor". I stamped them on Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper using a Jet Black Stazon Pad. All of these items are in the annual catalog, too. Stampin' Up! has even made a hashtag to celebrate the month... #WatercolorStampinUp

For those of you that have been here before, you know that I always decorate the inside of my cards, too. It was so hard to pick a hippo out of the group, but this is the little guy that won.

My 3D project, that goes along with the card, was made using the same things listed above and a Peekaboo Treat Bag. These bags are also in the annual catalog, and they come in white & Kraft (5 each). They're even food safe! As you can see, I used one of the white bags. I picked out yellow and white gumballs from a bag of gumballs I had. They had to coordinate with the bag, didn't they? LoL
