In today's Weekly YouTube/Facebook Live I taught two coloring techniques...Watercolor Emboss Resist and Sponging Stamps. The first card was a Winter card, and the second card was a Fall card. The cards also feature wonderful bundles, Designer Series Paper (DSP), and vellum from the July - December 2022 Mini Catalog (Holiday Catalog).
If you watch my video below, make sure to click on it to watch it on YouTube so you can leave a comment to be put into the drawing to win the two cards I made below. You have until 11 am (MT) on Tuesday, July 26 to comment to be put in the prize drawing.

My first card used the Watercolor Emboss Resist technique. It's such a pretty technique, and it never looks the same twice. It's really easy to do, and you can learn how to do it in my video above. I made video chapters in my YouTube video. If you watch it on YouTube (instead of here on my blog), you can skip chapters if you like. At the beginning, I drew for the door prize winner for last week's cards and showed some swap cards I received. I start making this card in the "Card #1..." chapter.
This card features the Joyful Flurry Bundle and the Adhesive-Backed Sequins & Gems from the Holiday Catalog. These coordinate so well together.
See the snowflake background? These were made with the Frosted Flurry Dies that come in the Joyful Flurry Bundle. I was struggling with what I wanted to do with the Fresh Freesia base layer, and these dies were just what I needed.
I also used the gorgeous Snowflake Specialty Vellum from the Holiday Catalog. It has three designs, and each design comes in two different finishes...one is iridescent foil and the other is white flocking. I used the iridescent foil design on my original card on the left, and I used the white flocking design on the one I made during the Live (right card).
My last card used the Sponging Stamps Technique. This is such a super easy way to get a two-tone effect on a stamp. Of course, it works great on Fall leaves! If you want to go directly to this card in the video, go to the chapter titled "Card #2...".
This card features the Soft Seedlings Stamp Set & Rustic Harvest DSP...both from the Holiday Catalog. The Crumb Cake layer was embossed with the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder, and the bow was made with the Silver-Threaded Twine. Both are from this catalog, too.
I stamped the leaves and greeting on Basic White Cardstock, but the cardstock was way too bright for the look I was going for. After stamping it, I embossed it with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (annual catalog), and then I put Crumb Cake on it using a Blending Brush.
I stamped a little bit on the inside of each card, too. 😀
