A Quick & Easy Spring Card With A Touch of Ink

I Can't Believe We're in the Last Month of Sale-A-Bration!

I've been dying to make a card with the beautiful Sale-A-Bration stamp set, A Touch of Ink, and I finally got to! It's one of two Level Two Sale-A-Bration products. Level Two products are larger than the Level One products, and you can get them FREE with a $100 order (before shipping & tax)

The picture of the stamp set on the stamp case is a little deceiving. If you look on the bottom, right corner, it says "Images @ 65%". So, the stamp images and greetings are quite a bit larger.

I Show a Couple of the Stamps Next to the Picture to Show You the Difference in my Video Tutorial Below.

The images in this set are SO beautiful! The stamps that "color" the lined images in are larger than the lined images. I LOVE the look, and you don't have to worry about lining the stamps up perfectly. You've got to like that!

I used some products from the Stampin' Up! January - June 2021 Mini Catalog, too. That beautiful Designer Series Paper (DSP) is call Hydrangea Hill DSP. I got the color combo for the card from the colors in the DSP. Stampin' Up!'s coordination can't be beat! I also used the Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon from the Mini. Both the DSP and the ribbon are in the Hydrangea Hill Suite.

I also used the Curvy Dies from the Mini Catalog. These dies are so much fun, and I show you how to use them in the video below.

Last but not least, I used a few things from the Stampin' Up! 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. The embossing on the top, curvy layer was done with the  Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder. I also used the Layering Ovals Dies. I've definitely gotten my money's worth out these two products. I use them ALL of the time.

Here's the inside of the card. I always like to add a layer to the inside of the card to give it a more finished look. It doesn't have to be much, as you can see. I just stamped a flower in the bottom left corner, and called it good.

Dimensions (CS = Cardstock):
  • Highland Heather CS:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base) & 3" x 4" (scallop oval)
  • Seaside Spray CS:  4" x 3-3/4" (curvy layer)
  • Basic White CS:  2-3/4" x 3-3/4" (oval) & (2) 4" x 5-1/4" (base layer & inside layer)
  • Hydrangea Hill DSP:  4" x 2-1/2"
  • Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon:  6" (strip) & 5" (knotted piece)
