Here's the last card that was made at my Christmas Card Stamp-A-Stack (SAS). All of the cards from the SAS are quick and easy, but this one is definitely one of the quickest.
The card features the Wrapped in Plaid Suite from the Holiday Catalog. The Shaded Spruce/Gold Striped Ribbon is on backorder as I write this, but it should be back in stock within the next few days. You can still order it now, though. It's really pretty ribbon. There are four different trees in the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set, but so far, I've only used the plaid tree. Isn't it cute? I also used the Seasonal Wreath 3D Embossing Folder. This embossing folder is gorgeous! I really need to use it more!
- Shaded Spruce: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base)
- Cherry Cobbler: 4" x 5-1/4" (embossed layer)
- Whisper White: 4" x 3/4" (ho ho ho layer) & 3" x 2-1/4" (tree)
- Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper (DSP): 4" x 1"
- Shaded Spruce/Gold 3/8" Striped Ribbon: 6" (strip) & 4" (knot)
- Fold the Shaded Spruce piece in half (fold on the left) to form the card base. Emboss the top of the Cherry Cobbler piece with the Seasonal Wreath 3D Embossing Folder. Stamp the Ho Ho Ho stamp from the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set across the narrow Whisper White strip using the Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Pad. Attach it across the bottom part of the Cherry Cobbler piece. Attach the DSP piece across the top of the Ho Ho Ho piece. Wrap the 6" ribbon piece around the top of the DSP, and attach the ribbon ends to the back of the Cherry Cobbler piece. Attach it to the card base. Tie the 4" ribbon piece onto the left side of the attached ribbon using a single knot. Trim the ribbon ends at an angle.
- Stamp the plaid tree stamp onto one end of the last Whisper White piece using the Shaded Spruce Classic Stampin' Pad. Punch the tree out with the Pine Tree Punch. Attach it to the right side of the card, over the ribbon using Black Stampin' Dimensionals (both sizes).
