Last Retiring Showcase - Life is Grand

Today is the last day of my Retiring Showcase. Today's card features a stamp set that hasn't been around very long. It's from the Occasions Catalog, and it's called Life is Grand. What I love about this stamp set is how the big words in the stamps look 3D! Such a great greeting stamp set!

The other retiring items I used are the Twinkle Adhesive-Backed Sequins & Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper (DSP). I did use some items that will be carried over into the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalog...Piece of Cake Stamp Set, Rectangle Stitched Dies, Cake Builder Punch, and Candle Embellishments. Dimensions:

• Soft Sea Foam:  5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (card base)
• Pool Party:  5-1/4" x 4" (embossed layer)
• Whisper White:  5-1/4" x 4" (inside), 4 x 2-1/2" (greeting rectangle), & scraps (cake)
• Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper (DSP):  5-1/4" x 1-1/2"
• Twinkle Adhesive-Backed Sequins:  1 of each (4)

Instructions:

1. Emboss the top half of the Pool Party layer with the Dot to Dot Embossing Folder. Stamp the candles stamp from the Piece of Cake Stamp Set across the bottom of the piece using the Pool Party Classic Stampin' Pad. Attach the DSP strip across the middle of the piece. Fold the Soft Sea Foam piece in half to form the card base (fold on top). Attach the embossed piece to the center of the card front.
2. Stamp the "Make a Wish" stamp from the Life is Grand Stamp Set onto the Whisper White greeting rectangle piece using the Gray Granite Classic Stampin' Pad. Die-cut the greeting out with the #4 rectangle die from the group of 8 dies (#1 being the smallest) from the Rectangle Stitched Dies. Attach the rectangle to the center of the card.
3. Stamp the cake and the cake plate stamps from the Piece of Cake set onto a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Color the plate in with the Gray Granite marker from the Neutrals Stampin' Write Markers. Color the cake in with the Petal Pink, Pool Party, & Sea Soft Foam markers from the Subtles Stampin' Write Markers. Punch the cake and the cake plate out with the Cake Builder Punch. Attach the cake plate onto the bottom, left corner of the Pool Party layer. Attach the cake to the top of the plate using Stampin' Dimensionals.
4. Attach the stars from the Twinkle Adhesive-Backed Sequins onto the greeting rectangle. Take the paper backing off of the back of a silver candle from the Candle Embellishments, and attach it to the top of the cake, putting the bottom end of the candle below the cake a bit.
5. Inside of Card (2nd Picture):  Stamp the "Happy Birthday" cake stamp onto the bottom, left corner of the Whisper White inside piece using the Pool Party ink pad. Stamp the lollypops stamp on top of the cake using the Petal Pink Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the "...Happy Birthday" stamp from the Life is Grand set onto the middle of the piece using the Gray Granite ink pad. Attach the piece to the center of the inside of the card.

Use SNAIL Adhesive when attaching, unless stated otherwise.
