Flower Shop Birthday Card

The card I'm sharing today is the card I made for my oldest daughter for her birthday.  I used one of my favorite new stamp sets, Flower Shop (p. 94) on this one.  I inked up the center of the textured flower stamp with a Daffodil Delight marker for all three flowers.  I inked up the petals of the top flower with a Strawberry Slush marker, the middle flower petals with a Wisteria Wonder marker, and the bottom flower petals with a Coastal Cabana marker.  I stamped them all on a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock, and then punched them out with the Pansy Punch (p. 183).  I stamped the doodle-type flower stamp with Pistachio Pudding ink onto Pistachio Pudding card stock.  I punched it out with the Pansy Punch, and cut off three of its petals.  I used them as leaves for the three flowers.

I embossed the Wisteria Wonder card stock with the Modern Mosaic Embossing Folder (p. 191), and attached it to the Pistachio Pudding card base.  I attached a piece of Daffodil Delight Polka-Dot paper from the Polka Dot Parade DSP (p. 154) to the left side of the card, angling it as shown below.

I attached the Strawberry Slush flower to the left side of a piece of Whisper White card stock (see picture) by putting SNAIL Adhesive (p. 174) to the back, center of the flower only.  I then attached the Coastal Cabana flower to the bottom, right side of the Whisper White card stock the same way.  I then attached the Wisteria Wonder flower in-between the other two flowers with Stampin' Dimensionals (p. 175).  I then attached the "leaves" under each flower as shown below.

I stamped the birthday greeting from the hostess-only Banner Greetings stamp set (p. 202) with Daffodil Delight ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock.  I cut it out free-hand with Paper Snips (p. 177), and attached it to the right side of the Strawberry Slush flower.  I then attached a Strawberry Slush In Color Boutique Details (p. 169) to the top right corner of the Whisper White card stock with a couple of Glue Dots (p. 174).  I then attached the whole piece to the bottom right of the card as shown.
