Happy Flowers Thank You Card

Happy Monday, everyone!  I have one more card to share with you that was made at my stamp camp last Friday.

The card base (8-1/2" x 5-1/2", folded in half) was made with Bermuda Bay card stock.  I stamped the stem from the hostess stamp set, Happy Flowers (p. 202) onto the bottom right corner of a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Whisper White card stock with Gumball Green ink.

I punched out a small circle with the 1/2" Circle Punch (p. 182) from a scrap piece of Bermuda Bay card stock.  I then covered it all over with Dazzling Details (p. 166), and set it aside to dry completely.  I then stamped the biggest flower stamp from the same stamp set onto a scrap piece of Raspberry Ripple card stock with Raspberry Ripple ink, and the largest flower center stamp onto a scrap of Summer Starfruit card stock with Summer Starfruit ink.  I die-cut both pieces with the smallest and the second smallest dies in the Floral Frames Collection Framelits Dies (p. 187).  The Summer Starfruit flower doesn't fit perfectly into the die, so just center it as best as you can.

I then put adhesive onto the back of the Raspberry Ripple flower (on the center only).  I attached it above the stem on the Whisper White layer, and folded the flower petals up to add dimension.  Once the glittery circle was dry, I attached it to the center of the Summer Starfruit piece with a Glue Dot (p. 174).  I then attached them to the center of the Raspberry Ripple flower with three Stampin' Dimensionals (p. 175), and stamped the greeting from the hostess stamp set, Express Yourself (p. 205) onto the left side of the stem with Bermuda Bay ink.  Then, the whole things was attached to a 4" x 5-1/4" piece of Raspberry Ripple card stock.

I wrapped a 6" piece of Bermuda Bay 1/8" Taffeta Ribbon (p. 173) around the top of the layers, and attached the ribbon ends to the back.  I then tied a 9" piece of the same ribbon into a bow, and attached it to the left side of the attached ribbon with a Glue Dot.  The last step is to attach the whole thing to the Bermuda Bay card base.
