Sneak Peek - Mosaic Madness & More!

It's Friday!  I'm sure you're all ready for the weekend!  I'm ready for next weekend, because we'll be on our way to Gulf Shores/Orange Beach Alabama for a week-long vacation!  We haven't had a family vacation for three years, so we're all ready!

Today's card was made using this month's Craft Project Central (CPC) card sketch.  You can see the CPC23 sketch HERE.  Make sure you play along, too...you could win a FREE May CPC subscription!  The designer of this sketch is a new designer at CPC, and her name is Julie Wadlinger.  You'll want to check out her blog, See Julie Stamp.

I just went to the CPC site, and saw that Regina Andari and I both used the same new stamp sets!  She even used the same greeting stamp!  Great minds think a like! :)

I embossed the Strawberry Slush card base with the new Modern Mosaic Impressions folder.  Isn't it pretty?  The Strawberry Slush color is a new In Color, too!  I REALLY like it!  Actually, I REALLY like all of the new In Colors!

The mosaic stamps used are from the new Mosaic Madness stamp set.  I used Daffodil Delight, Strawberry Slush, and Pool Party inks, and stamped them on Whisper White card stock.  I then punched them out with the new Mosaic Punch.  The punch coordinates with the stamp set AND the Impressions folder!  I then attached one of the largest rhinestones from the Rhinestone Basic Jewels Pack (p. 175) to the center of each one.  Each mosaic was attached to the Island Indigo card stock with Stampin' Dimensionals (p. 177).  The strip of designer paper is also new, and it's called Quatrefancy Specialty DSP.  I attached it to the bottom of a piece of Pool Party card stock, and attached the Island Indigo/Mosaic piece above it.

The greeting comes from the new stamp set, Really Good Greetings, and was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink onto Whisper White card stock.  I punched the ends with a corner of the 1" Square Punch (p. 183).  I then attached it above the mosaic images.

I attached a piece of Daffodil Delight 1/4" Stitched grosgrain ribbon (p. 173) across the middle of the DSP, and then attached one of the buttons from the new button pack, Very Vintage designer buttons on to the left side of the ribbon with a Glue Dot (p. 177).
