Here is another Christmas card that will be made at my Christmas Stamp-A-Stack - Take Two at the end of the month. To find out more, please go to my EVENTS CALENDAR.
I CASEd this card from another SU! demonstrator, Leslie Orman. As far as I know, she doesn't have a blog. She shared it on Stampin' Connection, our Stampin' Up! Demo community. What made me like her card was how she trimmed two of the curved sides of the Window Frame of the green mat. It gives the Window Frames Collection Framelits (p. 30 in Holiday Catty) such a different look. I'm going to be doing this a lot in the future, I'm sure.
I stamped the Frosty Friends stamp (p. 9 in Holiday Catty) onto Sahara Sand card stock in Basic Black ink. I then die-cut it with a Window Frame framelit. I colored the snowmen in with markers, stamped the greeting from the More Merry Messages stamp set (p. 15 in Annual Catty), and sponged the "sky" around the snowmen in Pool Party ink with Sponge Daubers (p. 179).
After trimming off the two side curves of the Lucky Limeade frame, I paper-pierced it using the Festive Paper-Piercing Pack (p. 30 in Holiday Catty). You can get this paper-piercing pack free this month when you purchase one of two Ornament Keepsakes/Candlelight Christmas DSP bundles this month. Both bundles come in either wood-mount or clear-mount. To order one of these bundles, please go to my ONLINE STORE. You'll need to hurry though. The offer ends October 31!
