My Daughter's Birthday Card

My daughter, Steph, turned 17 yesterday! This is the card that I made for her. She fell in love with this flower as soon as she saw it, so I knew I had to use it for her birthday card. I also had to use a lot of blue, because it's her favorite color! Steph really like it.

I saw this week's MojoMonday 151 sketch, and I knew it would be perfect for this stamp set. I also turned to my favorite impressions folder, Vintage Wallpaper. I sponged Bashful Blue ink across the embossed images to make them stand out a little more.

I love that Stampin' Up! has made the flower brads in more colors this year. I own the Subtles Collection set, and I was so glad to have the Marina Mist ones to use. They really bring something special to the card. I can't wait until I own all of the flower brad sets. The saying piece is also popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
