Remember my cute owl card? After making the card, I thought I should try using him on a scrapbook layout. Guess what? I've done it! I've made a 12" x 12" two-page layout using my favorite owl.
I really like how it turned out. I made it last night, minus the owl peaking over the picture on the right page. I originally just had a line of trees stamped there. I knew it needed something, but I didn't have room for another owl...or so I thought.
This morning, my creative, 15-year old daughter, Stephanie looked at it. She said, "Mom, I really think you should put the owl's head above the picture, so it looks like he's peeking over the top of it." Where was she last night when I made it! Oh yeah, in bed. So, of course, I had to drop everything I was doing this morning to add the owl's head! Isn't she creative? That was definitely what it needed!

This is so cute Christy, you never cease to amaze me! I still need to make it to one of your scrapbooking classes.
