Short & Sweet Saturday - Picture Perfect Birthday

I can't believe how fast this past week has gone! I had two events this week, and that made me too busy to post. I promise to post more this coming week.

I was able to make this week's Short & Sweet Saturday's card, and here it is. This is the first card I've made with the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalog. This set makes great birthday cards!

Dimensions:

• Lemon Lime Twist:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base)
• Pool Party:  4" x 1-3/4" (embossed layer)
• Whisper White:  2-3/4" x 2-3/4" (circle)
• Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper (DSP):  4" x 4"
• Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon:  6" & 4"

Instructions:

1. Fold the Lemon Lime Twist piece in half (fold on the left) to form the card base. Attach the Picture Perfect Party DSP piece onto the top of the card base. It should have the same width of Lemon Lime Twist border around the top and side edges of the piece.
2. Emboss the Pool Party piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF). The sandwich used for Dynamic TIEFs is:  (starting from the bottom) Big Shot Platform, cardstock inside folder, and Standard Cutting Pad.
3. Wrap the 6" piece of Berry Burst ribbon around the top of the Pool Party piece, attaching the ribbon ends to the back of the piece. Attach the piece to the bottom of the card base, making sure it has the same width of Lemon Lime Twist border around the bottom and side edges of the piece. Tie the 4" piece of ribbon onto the left side of the attached ribbon, using a single-knot. Trim the ribbon ends at an angle.
4. Die-cut a circle out of the Whisper White piece using the second, largest circle die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. Stamp the solid candle stamp from the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set onto the bottom, center of the circle using the Berry Burst Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the same candle stamp onto the right side of the first candle using the Lemon Lime Twist Classic Stampin' Pad, and again onto the left side of the first candle using the Pool Party Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the flame stamp onto the top of each candle using the Peekaboo Peach Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the "Celebrate the Good Stuff" stamp over the candles using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Attach the circle to the right side of card, over the ribbon, using Stampin' Dimensionals.

When attaching pieces, use SNAIL Adhesive, unless stated otherwise.
