Welcome to Day 12 of my 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar Series! It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the final day, and I couldn’t think of a better way to wrap things up than with a soft, elegant “Thinking of You” card that highlights beautiful texture and delicate details.
In today’s video, I walk you through how to create this Day 12 card step by step. I share layering tips, simple embellishment ideas, and an easy ink blending technique that adds just the right amount of color to the focal piece without overpowering it.

The front of the card features a gorgeous embossed ephemera card layered onto patterned paper and cardstock for a clean, balanced look. I kept the color palette soft and calming so the texture could really shine.
To bring out the embossing on the ephemera card, I lightly brushed Misty Moonlight ink across the raised areas using a Blending Brush. This subtle step adds depth and dimension while keeping the card light and elegant. I just love the glow it makes around the wreath!
The Day 12 product in the Advent Calendar is an ephemera pack that includes beautiful 3" x 4" white embossed cards along with delicate white die-cuts. These pieces are perfect for quick focal points and add instant elegance to any card design. You can see all of the ephemera designs in the video above.
The inside of the card coordinates perfectly with the front, featuring a clean white panel accented with a stamped floral image. This leaves plenty of space for a handwritten message while still tying the design together.
As with the other cards in this Advent Calendar series, I’ve included a free project sheet for today’s card. The project sheet includes all measurements, photos of both the outside and inside of the card, and a complete supply list to make crafting along easy.
