Last Minute Christmas Card - Peaceful Evergreens

In my last Weekly Thursday's Live, I made three Last Minute Christmas cards for those that are running behind, like me, on their Christmas cards. All three are quick & easy, and they can be mass produced very easily!

I used both bundles from the Season of Elegance Suite from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog on this card. The trees are from the Peaceful Evergreens Bundle. There are dies to die-cut the trees, but I didn't use them for this card. You can still definitely do that, but if you're pressed for time, just stamping is the way to go.

You Can Learn How to Make This Card by Going to the
"Make the Second Card" Chapter of the Video Above.

The sentiments are from the Peaceful Season Bundle. I did use both the stamp set and the dies in the bundle. I love how the "Christmas" outline die die-cuts the stamped "Christmas" so well, and I love the little details in the small rectangle die I used to die-cut the "is in the air" stamp.

After I stamped the trees, I brushed some Pecan Pie ink over them using a Blending Brush. It helps separate the trees from the rest of the Crumb Cake layer so they can be highlighted more. After I did that, I embossed the piece with the Snowflake 3D Embossing Folder to make a snowy season.

I stamped the largest tree from the Peaceful Evergreens Bundle on the inside of the card and brushed Pecan Pie ink on it, too. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Season stamp set.

Dimensions (CS = Cardstock):
  • Mossy Meadow CS:  5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (card base)
  • Cherry Cobbler CS:  4-3/4" x 3-1/2" (main image mat)
  • Crumb Cake CS:  4-1/2" x 3-1/4" (main image layer)
    • 5-1/4" x 4" (inside)
  • Old Olive CS:  3" x 1" (sentiment rectangle)
  • Basic White CS:  4" x  1-1/4" (Christmas die-cut)
