Flowers of Beauty Card Class @ Home - Card #1

Here's the first card for my current Free Card Class @ Home (CC@H). This class features the Flowers of Beauty Bundle from the Stampin' Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.

I start my weekly Card Class @ Home (CC@H) every Thursday, and they end on the following Wednesday. The Free class video is my weekly Thursday Live on my Facebook Page and YouTube Channel @ 7:30 pm (ET). I'm not only featuring the Flowers of Beauty Bundle, but I'm also featuring the Unbounded Love Bundle. Both of these bundles are in the mega suite, Unbounded Beauty, in the annual catalog. In my card kits for my CC@Hs, I do all of the embossing & die-cutting, EXCEPT for the die-cutting in the featured bundle. In this class, I won't do the die-cutting with the Flowers of Beauty Dies (As usual, I will supply the cardstock for them, though), but I will die-cut the sentiment labels that are die-cut with dies in the Unbounded Love Dies for the card kits.

I decided to do a little something different for the flower die-cuts on this card. Instead of using a solid cardstock color, I used Blending Brushes to add two different colors to a strip of Basic White cardstock, and then I die-cut them out. There are two long dies that cut out eight flowers, and these are the dies I used. You can learn how I did it in the video above.

The Designer Series Paper I'm featuring is also part of the suite, and it's named after the suite... Unbounded Beauty DSP. ALL of the new 2024-2026 In Colors are in this DSP, along with Berry Burst & Calypso Coral. These colors are SO pretty together, and the designs in the paper are gorgeous, too! I'm showing off five of the 12 designs in this beautiful DSP (there are 6 double-sided 12" x 12" designs) on today's card.

I pulled out an embossing folder that has been around for awhile, and it's the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I love how it looks behind the main floral die-cuts. You don't have to have this embossing folder if you get my card kits...I will do the embossing for you.

The featured embellishment pack for this class is also part of the Unbounded Beauty Suite, and it's the 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots. These dots include all five of the 2024-2026 In Colors like the DSP, and each color comes in two different sizes. I used the large Peach Pie dots on the larger flower die-cuts, and I used the small Petunia Pop dots on the smaller ones. The 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...

I decided to stamp the leaf branch stamps from the bundle onto the Basic White inside layer using Summer Splash ink. One stamp does the outline, and the other one fills in some of the open spaces in the leaves. These stamps coordinate perfectly with the Summer Splash die-cut on the front of the card.
