I've got another birdhouse for you! The birdhouse on the FIRST CARD was made with the dies in the Country Birdhouse Bundle only, and the SECOND CARD was made with both the stamps and the dies in the bundle. This time, I made it with the dies again, but it's a little fancier than the other two. The other two had a more of a wood-look to them. I also used the bow/string die to make this a hanging birdhouse. I stamped the "happy birthday" stamp from the bundle onto the base layer of the birdhouse using Misty Moonlight ink.
I used the Petal Pink & White Diagonal Trim from the Country Woods Suite again, but this time, I used the white ribbon. I didn't want to use a knot or bow with it, but I did use it as a border to go across the DSP strip along the bottom of the card.
Once again, I used both of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) packs in the suite. I only used the Country Woods DSP for the roof and base of the birdhouse, and the rest of the DSP I used is from the Country Lace DSP. I really like the Misty Moonlight eyelet design for the main part of the birdhouse. It's so pretty!
Speaking of the eyelet design, I once again used the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder on the Lemon Lolly base layer, too.
As with the other cards in this class, the embellishment pack I'm featuring is the Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems. These gems aren't part of the Country Woods Suite, but they're another embellishment pack that works great with the products in the suite. They come in two different sizes and three metallic colors, which are copper, silver & light gold. I made sure to use all three metallic colors in this class, and I used two of each size of the silver gems on this card. The Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...
If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code NN7CRWBD, by June 19th, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!
Isn't this bird adorable? I thought he would look so cute on the inside of the card, and I was right. I stamped him with Basic Gray ink and colored him in with Pool Party & Lemon Lolly Stampin' Blends...just like the bird on the outside of the card.
I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.
I Hope You Enjoyed my Country Birdhouse Card Class @ Home!
