Along with the dies that die-cut the stamped images in the stamp set that's part of the Latte Love Bundle, the die-set in the bundle has a lot of stand-alone dies that coordinate with the stamp set, too. Two of the dies made the pot with the holder on my card, and two other dies made the little coffee cup with the coffee inside. These are just a few of them...there are more that I wasn't able to use in this class. You can see all of the dies in the video above, or by clicking on the Latte Love Bundle in the supply list below.
One thing I forgot to mention in the FIRST CARD'S POST is the wonderful ribbon in the A Little Latte Suite. It's called Natural Polka Dot Trim, and I love it. I used it on all three cards in this class. I love how you have the option to use the polka dot side or the plain side. My favorite side is the polka dot side, but the plain, woven trim side is perfect for those cards where polka dots just won't work.
I love this plaid design in the A Little Latte Designer Series Paper (DSP). I wanted my coffee pot and cups to look like they were on a kitchen table. This plaid design makes me think of a kitchen tablecloth, so it was perfect for the look I was going for.
I always pick one embellishment pack to feature in my Card Class @ Homes, and this time I chose to feature the Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots from the same suite. These dots come in 3 different colors, which are white, Petal Pink, & Pecan Pie. For this card, I used the Petal Pink swirl dots and put them around the sentiment. The Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...
If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code RUUVDYSB, by March 13th, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dots Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!
Note: These embellishments aren't available right now, but they will be back the middle part of April. Thankfully, I was able to order some of these before they temporarily sold out. I think I'll have enough, but just in case, make sure to order ASAP in case I run out.
I just wanted something simple for the inside of the card, so I stamped the coffee mug with Lost Lagoon ink and stamped the coffee with Pecan Pie ink. The mug could easily be stamped in Early Espresso ink and colored in with Lost Lagoon Stampin' Blends like the outside of the card, too.
I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.
Come Back Tomorrow for the Last Card of the Class
