Two-Tone Flora Thank You Card - January Card Club Alternative

I normally would have posted my card club alternatives earlier in the month, but the sinus virus I've been dealing with most of the month messed my voice up too much to do the videos. The cards have been made for awhile now. Thankfully, I can share them with their videos now.

My January Card Club features the Seaside Bay Bundle...actually everything in the By the Bay Suite. If you would like to join my Monthly Club, and start with my Seaside Bay Bundle cards, you need hurry...

My first alternative for my Seaside Bay Club features the Two-Tone Flora Bundle from the Stampin' Up! January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. I love this bundle, and this is the first card I've made with it. It was made with supplies that are in one of the card kits in this month's card club. I always make alternative cards to show my card club members how they can change the cards up a bit using another stamp set or bundle. My alternatives also use the same ink pads that I listed were needed to make the card club cards.

In this particular card kit, I had the cardstock already die-cut with the Layering Diorama Dies and embossed with the Cascading Ruffles 3D Embossing Folder. I knew these flowers would look good with the diorama "window" I made for the original club card.

Of course, I had to use the Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls on my card, too. They are so gorgeous, and they can definitely be used with other stamp sets & dies. They aren't limited to a "sea" based set.

The Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the window is from the By the Bay DSP that is included in the January Card Club. I'm happy with how it looks with this floral set, too.

I stamped the larger flower from the front of the card onto the inside of the card so both the inside & outside coordinate.

Dimensions (CS = Cardstock):
  • Sahara Sand CS:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base)
  • Balmy Blue CS:  4" x 5-1/4" (embossed layer)
  • Night of Navy CS:  3-1/2" x 4-3/4" (inside diorama layer)
  • Basic White CS:  6" x 2-3/4" (flowers & leaves)
    • 1-3/4" x 1" (greeting)
    • 4" x 5-1/4" (inside)
  • By the Bay DSP:  3" x 4"
  • Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls:  3 small pearls
