I haven't been able to make too many Fall cards, so I decided to make one for the blog hop. I LOVE making Fall cards. Fall & Christmas cards are my favorite, so this is my perfect cardmaking season!

My card features the Hello Harvest Bundle from the July-December 2022 Mini Catalog (Holiday Mini). There are two different pumpkins in this bundle...a stamped one (with a coordinating die) and a die-cut only one. As you can see, I opted for the die-cut only one.

This pumpkin is made with two dies, and I really like the embossing the dies do! These dies are perfect to make a beautiful white pumpkin, so I made one! This one is made with the Pearlescent Specialty Paper from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog. The pictures don't do it justice. The pearlescent finish on this paper really makes for a beautiful pumpkin.

The Cajun Craze layer was embossed with my favorite Fall embossing folder, Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder, from the Holiday Mini. The folder doesn't have leaves all over it. It has a "swoosh" of them. It really makes the leaves look like they're falling.

The patterned paper I used is from the Rustic Harvest Designer Series Paper from the same Holiday Mini. The fall colors in this paper is so pretty! I like the black background on the pumpkin design I used. It really makes the pumpkins pop.

I decorated the inside of the card with another strip of the Rustic Harvest DSP. I matted it with a strip of copper metallic cardstock from the Brushed Metallic Cardstock in the Annual Catalog. I used this same metallic cardstock on the front of the card, too.

Dimensions (CS = Cardstock):
  • Mossy Meadow CS:  4-1/4" x 11" (card base)
  • Basic Black CS:  3" x 5-1/2" (embossed layer's mat)
  • Cajun Craze CS:  2-3/4" x 5-1/2" (embossed layer)
  • Crumb Cake CS:  2-1/4" x 1" (greeting)
    • 4" x 5-1/4" (inside layer)
  • Early Espresso CS:  scrap piece (pumpkin stem)
  • Basic White CS:  2-3/4" x 3" (leaves and flowers)
  • Rustic Harvest DSP:  4-1/4" x 1-1/2" (outside piece)
    • 4" x 3/4" (inside piece)
  • Pearlescent Specialty Paper:  2" x 5" (pumpkin)
  • Brushed Metallic CS:  4-1/4" x 1-3/4" - copper (outside strip)
    • 2-1/2" x 1" - copper (swirls on pumpkin)
    • 4" x 1" - copper (inside strip)
