Live Stream Replay - Sweet Sunflowers Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

Today's Live featured my alternative cards for the Sweet Sunflowers Paper Pumpkin Kit. This was the August 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit. Sadly, there aren't any refills available for this GORGEOUS kit! If you have this kit, and still have supplies in it, maybe these can be some ideas for you on how to use them.

First off, I want to show you the cards that come from the actual Paper Pumpkin Kit. Aren't they gorgeous? I LOVE sunflowers, and I couldn't wait to get this kit. When I got it, I couldn't believe how beautiful it was! It's by far my favorite Paper Pumpkin Kit so far!

This was the first card I made in my video above. The watercolor background actually comes from the back side of one of the card bases in the kit. Yes, both sides of the card bases are decorated! Cutting the card bases in half, and attaching them to a cardstock card base, gives you double the amount of cards you can make. I used a Crushed Curry card base, and a Soft Suede base layer on this card.

I used the bonus Gold Foil Honeycomb Sheets that also came with the kit. I cut one of them in half, and then cut out a section of the honeycombs for the card. I also stamped a sunflower onto Basic White Cardstock using the Crushed Curry & Soft Suede Stampin' Spots that came in the kit. In my video above, I show a quick way to color the sunflower. I also added some Mossy Meadow Cardstock, and stamped a couple leaves onto it with Mossy Meadow ink. The sunflower & leaves were fussy cut.

The second card used the front side of the card base from the card above. I absolutely love the watercolor imaged on this piece. It's so gorgeous, and the color combo is so pretty! I love it! The little bees you see on all three of my alternate cards come from the kit, too.

I added some Linen Thread and Black & White Gingham Ribbon to this card. I stamped the "hello" greeting from the kit's stamp set. It actually looks like it was printed on the piece with the rest of the watercolor images.

My last card is so quick & easy to make! The only stamping I had to do was the greeting. I stamped it onto one of the labels from the kit.

The card base is a piece of Blackberry Bliss Cardstock. I think the purple behind the lattice layer from the kit really makes the colors pop! It really makes for a pretty card.
