Paper Pumpkin Alternatives - August 2021 - Shelli's Hope Box Kit

It's time for some Paper Pumpkin Alternative projects. This is one of my favorite, if not my favorite, Paper Pumpkin Kit. IT'S GORGEOUS!

Every month, I come up with at least 3 alternative projects for that month's Paper Pumpkin Kit, and I was able to make this month's alternatives yesterday. August's kit is called "Hope Box Kit", and it's perfect for anyone that loves butterflies, flowers, and the watercolor-look.

Here are the three original cards from this beautiful kit. I couldn't wait to make the original cards, and I couldn't believe how quick and easy they were to make! These are my favorite kinds of cards...beautiful cards that are quick and easy to make.

Here's the first alternative card I made. I cut the large butterfly, that was meant for decorating the box, in half for my card. I also cut the long banners for the box into two pieces to fit onto the card. I added two pieces of cardstock and an ink pad that aren't in the kit:

I used the cool banners in the kit for my second alternative card. All three of my alternatives use the card bases in the kit. On this card, I used the Pool Party card base, and added some splatter "butterflies" onto it. I added one piece of cardstock and 3 ink pads that aren't in the kit to this card:

My last alternative card is my favorite. I absolutely LOVE that large die-cut from the kit! Isn't it gorgeous? I really liked this die-cut on the card base that was used with it on the original card, so I used it for my alternative card, too. I added the wonderful ribbon that was included in the kit, too. This ribbon was originally meant to be used on decorating the box.

EVERYTHING I used on this card comes from the kit...including the ink pad.
