I've finally got some new projects to show you. I've been frantically getting caught up after being sick on my online classes and other behind the scenes stuff, and I can finally share some new projects and a video. It's so good to be back!
I'm changing things up a bit for my Paper Pumpkin alternatives. I'm trying to work smarter, not harder, so I will now be sharing my Paper Pumpkin alternative projects every month WITH a video tutorial for everyone to watch. This is killing two birds with one stone...sharing my alternatives AND getting a video on my YouTube channel. 😉
The original cards for the May 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit are pictured above. I have to admit, I wasn't sure if I would like this kit, because I'm not much of a baseball fan. After making projects with it, however, I REALLY like it! The vintage look of the cards is what drew me in. These are great masculine cards, but they can be given to ALL of the baseball lovers in your life, too.
Here are the three alternative cards I came up with. I only added 3 products that weren't in the kit for these cards. I added the Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad, Real Red Cardstock, and Night of Navy Cardstock. Everything else I used came directly from the kit!
This is my first alternative card. How about that red sunburst on the card base? The "stained" look on these cards is wonderful. It adds to the vintage look. Everything on this card came from the kit except for the Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad used for the "BROTHER" stamp. It can easily be substituted with the Night of Navy Stampin' Spot in the kit.

Here's the second alternative card I made in my video. That "You're in a League All Your Own" card layer just screams vintage baseball look! Everything I used on this card, came from the kit. No other products needed!
This is the last card I made. I decided to make it a "landscape" card. I did use three products not in the kit, but everything else is from the kit. The added products are the Real Red Classic Stampin' Pad, the Night of Navy Cardstock used to make a mat for the "base" die-cut, and Real Red Cardstock for the baseball hat.
