Sneak Peek - First Cards With My New January - June 2021 Mini Catalog Goodies

I got my new goodies yesterday, and immediately made a couple cards. What new goodies? The new goodies I was able to purchase from the upcoming Stampin' Up! January - June 2021 Mini Catalog for attending OnStage@Home last week.

Of the stamp sets I was able to order, I chose my favorite two...Art Gallery and Garden Wishes. The Art Gallery set is from the Fine Art Floral Suite. It happens to be my favorite suite in the mini catalog, too, and that says a lot! The suites, and so many other products in the catalog, are WONDERFUL! There are so many I want. It's a good thing I'm a demo, so I can get them all at a discount! 😍

Want to See Everything I Got? Then, You'll Want to Watch my Unboxing Video Below:

Note:  When I tried to go Live on YouTube, it didn't work. I had to download the live from Facebook, and then upload it to YouTube. The bad part of having to do this is that the quality of the video goes down. If you want to see the Live on Facebook (with a little clearer picture), you can see it under my November 11 post HERE.

I actually have two videos for you today! The unboxing video above, and the one below where I make these two cards. The first one I made in the video features the Garden Wishes Stamp Set from the Dandy Garden Suite. It coordinates with the Dragonfly Garden Bundle, also in this suite. I was able to purchase this bundle before OnStage@Home, and you can see the card I made with it HERE.

The other new items I used from the Dandy Garden Suite are the Dandy Garden 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim. I also just had to use our new Blending Brushes, too! I've been wanting these for a LONG time! They'll also be available in the new mini catalog, which starts on January 5, 2021.

I paired some current products with my new goodies, too. The card base is from the Gold Cards & Envelopes in the current August - December 2020 Mini Catalog. If you like these cards and envelopes, you'll need to make sure you get these ordered now. These could possibly retire when this catalog ends. I forgot to take a picture of the gold envelopes, but you can see them in the video below.

I also used the Timeless Label Punch from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I used it for the greeting label.

Dimensions:
  • Gold Cards & Envelopes:  1 of each
  • Blackberry Bliss Cardstock (CS):  2-1/2" x 4-1/2" (flower mat)
  • Very Vanilla CS:  2-1/4" 4-1/4" (flower layer) & scrap (label)
  • Dandy Garden DSP:  3-3/4" x 2"
  • Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim:  enough for a small bow

Now for my favorite card of the two. This one features the Art Gallery stamp set from the Fine Art Floral Suite...my favorite suite! Isn't that stamped flower gorgeous? This is a two-step stamp set. It's also a photopolymer (clear) stamp set, which makes it super easy to line up. You'll see how easy in the video below.

I also used some other products from the Fine Art Gallery Suite. They are the Fine Art Gallery DSP, Fine Art Ribbon, and Painted Textured 3D Embossing Folder. Notice the texture on the stamped flower layer? That was done with this wonderful embossing folder! It really makes it look like a painting.

I paired a couple current products on this card, too. That beautiful frame was made with the Ornate Layers Dies from the annual catalog, and the paper I used for the frame is the Brushed Metallic Cardstock from the current mini catalog. Once again, if you like this metallic cardstock, you'll want to order it now, in case it retires with the current mini ends.

 Dimensions:
  • Flirty Flamingo CS:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base)
  • So Saffron CS:  4" x 5-1/4" (base layer)
  • Whisper White CS:  2-1/2" x 3-7/8" (flower layer)
  • Brushed Metallic CS:  3-1/2" x 5" (frame)
  • Fine Art Floral DSP:  2" x 5-1/4"
  • Fine Art Ribbon:  7"
