Paper Pumpkin Alternatives - March 2020 Kit

Today, I want to share with you my Paper Pumpkin alternative cards for the March 2020 Kit called No Matter the Weather. I have sorely neglected my Paper Pumpkin kits, but that is going to change from now on!

I love how you get everything you need to make the projects in the kit. It's a little craft party in a box! The kit for this month was super cute, as usual, but it was even more special than usual, too! It included a 2nd, larger stamp set added to the kit for FREE.

Paper Pumpkin kits always include an exclusive, photopolymer set, along with a little ink pad (Stampin' Spot), but this month's included another exclusive, photopolymer stamp set call Spring Splash. It was added to celebrate Paper Pumpkin's 7th Anniversary.

In the above picture, the card from the kit is pictured on the left. My alternative is on the right. I give the pointers on how they're both made in the video below. I did add a couple pieces of cardstock to my alternative. You'll need a 2-1/2" x 3" piece of Pear Pizzazz Cardstock and a 2-1/4" x 2-3/4" piece of Whisper White Cardstock. Everything else comes from the kit.

Here's the next set. Once again, the one from the kit is on the left, and my alternative is on the right. The only thing I added to my alternative card, that wasn't in the kit, was a scrap piece of Whisper White for the bunny, and I used Pear Pizzazz ink across the bottom of the card.

Here's my last note card set. The original kit card is on the left, and my alternative is on the right. Everything I used on my alternative is from the kit.

Now, I made THREE more alternative cards in the video. These three show how you can use the stamp sets in the kit on full-size cards. You watch me make the following three cards in the video below. I'll put the dimensions under each card. The supplies for all of the cards are listed at the end of the post. The only thing that can't be added to the supply list is the stuff in the Paper Pumpkin Kit.

Dimensions:

• Balmy Blue:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base)
• Grapefruit Grove:  4" x 2-1/4" (embossed layer)
• Whisper White:  4" x 5-1/4" (cloud layer) and 3" x 3/4" (greeting banner)

Dimensions:

• Shaded Spruce:  5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (card base)
• So Saffron:  5-1/4" x 4" (base layer)
• Grapefruit Grove:  4-1/4" x 2" (embossed layer)
• Gray Granite:  4-3/4" x 3/4" (greeting)
• Whisper White:  3-1/4" x 2-1/2" (flower circle)

The card on the left is the first one. I made the Balmy Blue boot one in the video. I wanted to show how changing one color can change the look of a card.

Dimensions:

• Petal Pink:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base), 2-1/4" x 3" (boots mat), and 3-1/4" x 2-1/2" (circle)
• Gray Granite:  4" x 5-1/4" (embossed base layer)
• Pear Pizzazz:  3-1/4" x 2-1/2" (circle)
• Balmy Blue:  3-1/4" x 2-1/2" (circle)
• Whisper White:  2" x 2-3/4" (boots)
