Happy Valentine's Day!
Since it's Valentine's Day, I thought I'd share the card I made my hubby. I always use a masculine color combo for his Valentine, and this time I used Merry Merlot, Crumb Cake & Early Espresso. I've written a tutorial for the card, and you can find it below.
The card features the Heartfelt Bundle from the Stampin' Up! January - June, 2020 Mini Catalog. The bundle includes the Heartfelt Stamp Set and the Heart Punch Pack. Purchasing them together in the bundle saves you 10%!
I love having different hearts in one stamp set, and having punches to punch most of them out. So much fun! There are even more heart stamps than what I used, including a scallop one that coordinates with the scallop heart punch in the punch pack.
The Merry Merlot piece was embossed with the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder, and the Early Espresso heart was embossed with the Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing Folder.
My husband plays the guitar, so I just had to add the ukulele trinket from the Tropical Oasis Trinkets. He plays the bass guitar at our church, so I thought the ukulele could pass as an acoustic bass, since it has 4 strings like a bass. I know he's going to love it!
You won't believe the name of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) I used...Pressed Petals Specialty DSP. As you can see, there are a couple designs in the pack that don't include flowers. 😉 You can find this DSP in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. I also used the 5/16" Braided Burlap Trim from the Mini Catalog. I love fraying the ends.
