Lasting Lily Sale-A-Bration Camp Card

Yes, I'm still here! The last few weeks have been so busy in the Fulk Household. Some things have been good, but some things not so good.

The Good:  My hubby had a lot of vacation days coming to him. He used some of them throughout the month of December, and took the rest of them, about 1-1/2 weeks, at the end of December for Christmas and New Year's. It was nice having him around. This was the first year that it was only us during the day. This is the first Christmas that our two daughters have lived on their own, and then our son, who still lives with us, was at work during the day. It was nice.

The Not So Good:  Once Christmas was over, I had planned on getting back to my regular schedule, but my brother-in-law, my husband's oldest brother, passed away unexpectedly two days after Christmas. I needed to be there for my husband, and the whole Fulk family, so I wasn't able to work at all for a few more days.

I've been playing catch-up for the last week, and finally have some projects to share with you. It's so good to be back! I'm having so much fun playing with my new stuff!

Today's card features the Lasting Lily Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set. This stamp set is a Level Two Sale-A-Bration item...you can get it free with a $100 order (before shipping & tax). It's a wonderful 16 stamp photopolymer set, with SO MANY greetings included with the beautiful lilies!

Dimensions:
  • Grapefruit Grove:  5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (card base)
  • Lemon Lime Twist:  3" x 4" (scallop oval)
  • Whisper White:  5-1/4" x 4" (embossed layer), 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" (oval), 3" x 2-1/2" (lilies)
  • Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper (DSP):  5-1/4" x 1-1/2" (Grapefruit Grove small gingham)
  • Organdy Ribbon Combo Pack:  7" & 4" (Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon)

Instructions:
  1. Stamp the "With Sympathy" stamp from the Lasting Lily Stamp Set onto the bottom, right corner of the largest Whisper White piece using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Emboss the top half of the same piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Layered Leaves Textured Impression Embossing Folder. Attach the DSP piece across the middle of the piece. Wrap the longest ribbon piece around the top part of the DSP, and attach the ribbon ends to the back of the Whisper White piece. Fold the Grapefruit Grove piece in half (fold on the top) to form the card base. Attach the embossed/DSP piece to the center of the card front.
  2. Die-cut an oval out of the Whisper White piece oval piece using the second-largest oval die from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies. Die-cut a scallop oval out of the Lemon Lime Twist piece using the largest scallop oval die. Stamp the stem without a leaf stamp onto the bottom, center of the white oval using the Lemon Lime Twist Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the stem with a leaf stamp to the left of the first one using the same ink pad. Stamp the long leaf stamp onto each side of the stems using the same ink pad (see picture). Attach the stamped oval to the center of the scallop oval.
  3. Stamp the largest lily stamp and the smallest lily stamp onto the last Whisper White piece (once each) using the Grapefruit Grove Classic Stampin' Pad. Fussy-cut the lilies out with Paper Snips. Attach the small lily to the left stem, and the large lily to the right stem. Attach the scallop oval to the left side of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Tie the short ribbon piece onto the right side of the attached ribbon using a single-knot. Trim the ribbon ends at an angle.

Use SNAIL Adhesive when attaching, unless stated otherwise.
