Here's another card that was made at my Occasions Catalog Stamp Camp yesterday. This card features the Happy Home Stamp Set and the Botanicals Gardens Designer Series Paper. I really like the tree in this stamp. I love the shape of it.
Tips:
- Only the top half of the Mint Macaron layer is embossed with the Elegant Dots Folder.
- The trees leaves were watercolored with a Blender Pen and Hello Honey ink. The flowers were watercolored with Cajun Craze ink, and the flower leaves were watercolored with Old Olive ink.
- The sky was colored with a sponge dauber and Soft Sky ink, and the ground was sponged in with Old Olive ink. The sponging gives the sky and ground a softer look, which is what I was going for.
- The tree layer was attached to the back of the window, and then attached to the card. This helped with getting the tree right where I wanted it in the window, and insured that the window would be on the card where I wanted it.
