I know it's hard to believe, but I finally have a card to share with you all! I used this month's Craft Project Central sketch, CPC30. I usually make a card with the CPC sketch much earlier in the month, but I just didn't have time with Christmas and all. This is a great sketch, and it was designed by Regina Andari.
If you play along with the sketch, you could win a free month subscription to Craft Project Central. You'll need to hurry, though. The last day you can play is this Tuesday, December 31.
I made this card a little bigger than the one that Regina made in her tutorial. The card base on mine is made with a 5-1/2" x 11" piece of card stock, and folded in half to make a 5-1/2" square card. I used the new single stamp being offered in the upcoming Occasions Catalog, People Like You. I really like this stamp! I did stamp it a second time, and punched out the greeting with the Decorative Label Punch. I watercolored the border of the greeting with Crisp Cantaloupe ink, and the greeting background with Sahara Sand ink. I attached it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. It's really hard to tell in the picture, but I did sponge the Naturals White layer with Crisp Cantaloupe ink.
I used two other new items from the upcoming Occasions Catalog, too. The designer paper is called Watercolor Wonder DSP, and the ribbon is called Natural 5/8" Chevron Ribbon.
