Two Quick & Easy Christmas Cards

I just realized that I never posted two of the cards that I did for my first Christmas Stamp-A-Stack in September.

The first card features the Scentsational Season stamp set (p. 16-Holiday Catalog) and the More Merry Messages stamp set (p. 15-annual catalog).  The card base was made with Primrose Petals card stock.  The Whisper White layer was embossed with the Petals-A-Plenty Impressions Folder (p. 189), and then attached to the card base.  I stamped "Merry Christmas" to the bottom, right corner of the Baja Breeze strip in Cherry Cobbler ink, and then attached to a Primrose Petals strip.  Then, the strips were attached to the bottom of the embossed Whisper White layer.

I die-cut a piece of Whisper White card stock with the second-smallest die in the Window Frames Collection dies (p. 30-Holiday Catalog), and die-cut a piece of designer paper from the Snow Festival DSP (p. 10-Holiday Catalog) with the next larger die in the set.  I attached the white frame to the DSP frame, and then attached them to the card.

The gingerbread man was stamped in Soft Suede ink, and the white areas were colored in with Baja Breeze, Cherry Cobbler, Primrose Petals, and Gumball Green markers.  The candy cane was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink.  They were both cut out with the Holiday Collection Framelits dies (p. 16-Holiday Catalog).  I attached them both onto the frames using Stampin' Dimensionals (p. 177).

The second card features the Watercolor Winter stamp set (p. 14-Holiday Catalog) and the More Merry Messages stamp set again.

The card base is made with Real Red card stock.  I stamped the outline poinsettia stamp across the top of the card base with Real Red ink.  The green layer was made with the new Gumball Green Core'dinations card stock (p. 6-Holiday Catalog).  I embossed it with the Lacy Brocade Impressions Folder (p. 6-Holiday Catalog), and then sanded the embossed design with the new Stampin' Sanding System (p.6-Holiday Catalog).  I attached it to the bottom of the card, and than attached a strip of Candlelight Christmas Specialty DSP (p. 4-Holiday Catalog) across the top of that.

I then stamped the pine branch stamp a few times onto the right side of a piece of Very Vanilla card stock.  I then stamped two pine cones (bold pine cone stamp) in Early Espresso ink.  I then stamped "Christmas Blessings" in Real Red ink on the left side of the Very Vanilla card stock, and attached it to a piece of Early Espresso card stock.  I then brushed the Illuminate Glimmer Watermark pad (p. 23-Holiday Catalog) across the top of both layers, and attached it to the left center of the card.
