Last Day to Win Free CPC Subscription

Hello, fellow stampers!  I hope you're all having a great day!  Today is the last day to comment on the posts from this last week in order to earn a chance to win the FREE November Craft Project Central subscription.  Please read the last paragraph in this post to find out more.

I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch (MOJO267) to make this card.  I rotated the sketch 90 degrees to the left.  I made this card for my technique club who's coming over tonight and Thursday.  The technique is called Magical Tape ("Magical Masking" on SCS).  I used painter's tape to make the background behind the flower silhouette.  The painter's tape comes off much easier than masking tape.  The silhouette flower comes from the Summer Silhouettes stamp set (p. 75).  I stamped it with Early Espresso ink.  The colors in the background are Wild Wasabi, More Mustard, Perfect Plum, and Baja Breeze.  I did the background before stamping the flowers on.  It's all on Very Vanilla card stock.  The top of the Early Espresso mat underneath was punch out with the Scallop Trim Border Punch (p. 183).  The ribbon that was tied around the top of the whole piece is Victoria Crochet Trim (p. 173).

I embossed the More Mustard card stock with the Woodgrain Impressions Folder (p. 33-Holiday Catalog), and attached it to a piece of Baja Breeze card stock.  I attached it all to the center of the Perfect Plum card base.  I then attached the flower silhouette piece to it at an angle.

The greeting comes from the Blooming with Kindness stamp set (p. 87), and was stamped with Perfect Plum ink onto Very Vanilla card stock.  I punched it out with the 1-1/4" Circle Punch (p. 184), and layered onto a Perfect Plum circle punched out with the 1-3/8" Circle Punch (p. 184).  I attached it to the bottom left of the flower silhouette piece.

The flower was made with the Boho Blossom Punch (p. 185).  I used all three flowers in the punch, and I punched them out from Very Vanilla card stock.  I then bent the petals of each flower up, and sponged them all with Baja Breeze ink and a Sponge Dauber.  I attached the flower with a Glue Dot, and then attached a Large Pearl Basic Jewel (p. 175) to the center of the flower.
