This is a layout that I just made that features both of my daughters turning 16. Stephanie (the brunette) turned 16 last August, and Whitney (the blond) will be turning 19 at the end of next month. I wanted to have a layout that showed them both at their Sweet 16 birthday parties. I really like how it turned out.
Ink: Cameo Coral, Ruby Red, Almost Amethyst, Lovely Lilac, Certainly Celery, and Old Olive Classic Ink Pads
Paper: Apricot Appeal, Almost Amethyst, Cameo Coral, Lovely Lilac, Certainly Celery, and Naturals White card stock
Accessories: Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, SU! Island Floral Bigz Die (mini), SU! Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (mini), Go Go Boots Alphabet Medium Sizzlits Dies, & Ice Circle Rhinestone Brads
I made the flowers with my new Island Floral Bigz die that's in the Summer Mini (p. 27). The flowers looked pretty, but I wanted to add a little something to make them pop.
Stamps: Greenhouse Garden
I decided they needed a little texture. So, after die-cutting the flower layers, I ran them through the Big Shot again using the new Square Impressions Folder that's also in the Summer Mini (p. 24). Once again, Stampin' Up! has another wonderful Impressions Folder that I love. It looks great with these flowers!
