I thought this stamp set would make a great monochromatic card. For those of you that don't know, a monochromatic card uses just one color, and it can be different shades of that color. I decided to use different shades of pink (rose) on this one.
I stamped the flowers in Rose Red ink, and then I brushed a wet aqua painter across the stamped flowers and leaves. Rose Red Classic ink isn't waterproof, so it bleeds a little when it is dampened. This makes the flowers look like they've been painted with a very pale shade of pink. I also used the sketch, SC276, from SCS (Splitcoaststampers).
Stamps: Elements of Style (Mini)
Ink: Pink Pirouette (coming back July 1) & Rose Red
Paper: Rose Red, Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette, & Naturals White card stock
Accessories: Scallop Trim Border Punch (coming back July 1), SU! Square Lattice Impressions Folder (Mini), Big Shot Die-Cut Machine, Vintage Brads, Pretty in Pink 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, 1-1/4" & 1" Circle Punches, & Stampin' Dimensionals
