I made this card for my dad's birthday last Saturday. Masculine cards are always harder for me to make, but I think this one came out pretty good. He really liked it.
I brayered Crushed Curry ink over Whisper White card stock, covering it completely. Then I punched out a circle from a post-it note, and attached it where I wanted the sun. Then I brayered over the piece again, using Dusty Durango ink. I then removed the post-it circle, revealing the sun underneath. Then, I stamped the flowers on with Chocolate Chip ink, and sponged the edges of the card stock with Chocolate Chip ink. I love doing this technique, it's so beautiful!
Stamps: Upsy Daisy and En Francais BG sets
Ink: Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango, & Chocolate Chip Classic Pads
Paper: Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry, Dusty Durango, & Whisper White card stock
Accessories: Brayer, Chocolate Chip Taffeta Ribbon, Large and Scallop Oval Punches, & Stampin' Dimensionals
