Mini Twix Candy Bar Holder

Here is one of the candy holders that will be made at my Valentine's Day Stamp Camp. We're supposed to get 4-7 inches of snow Friday night through Saturday here in Central Indiana. I'm going to go ahead and reschedule my Valentine's Stamp Camp to Tuesday, February 9 @ 6:30 p.m. Those that want to attend need to let me know by Sunday, February 7. OF COURSE, WE'LL BE CELEBRATING THE INDIANAPOLIS COLTS SUPER BOWL VICTORY AT THIS STAMP CAMP, TOO! GO COLTS!

One of my swap friends, Shirley Brown, made a candy holder a lot like this one, and I just had to make one myself. She used the same stamp, but I changed the colors and used a Filigree brad instead of a little punched flower.

The pouch starts off with a piece of 2-3/4" x 11" card stock. Then the long side is scored at 4" & 8". The 3" section is the top flap. I inserted the bottom of the pouch into my Large Oval punch as far as I could, centered it, and then punched the oval out. Then I put Sticky Strip on the bottom edge and folded it up and attached it to the top of the middle 4" section. I attached the ribbon onto the center of the top flap. Then I decorated the "love" part and attached it to the flap, over the ribbon. The candy is inserted into the punched-out oval, and then the ribbon is tied to close it. They are very easy to make, and you could make a lot of them very quickly.
